Good cave museums fill their morning slots weeks ahead and the great ones go first. Below: the 15 to book early, what each includes and how they differ.
Follow a licensed guide through Krakow’s Rynek Underground Museum for 90 minutes. You’ll see medieval streets, stalls, trade objects, projections, sounds, and holograms beneath the Main Square. Explore the Postal Museum, see the Penny Black and Victorian mail equipment, then ride the former Mail Rail through underground tunnels for about 15 minutes. Interactive sorting games, historic films, flintlock pistols, and a family café make this a strong choice for curious adults and children.

“One of the worst tours on our cruise. Our guide was late and then we find out he was not a guide but a young man just filling in for his brother. He tried hard to answer questions but was not a guide and took us on a wild goose chase because the cave was closed and was not the cave we paid to see which we found out was open but our drivers decide was too far to drive to. Very disappointing and our money should be returned. Waisted day when we should have been enjoying a great island.”
