Canmore Caving Adventure Tour

1.Canmore Caving Adventure Tour

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 356 reviews · 6 hours (approx.) · from $149Our pick

You’ll hike uphill for 30 to 40 minutes, then spend about four hours exploring Rat’s Nest Cave with an expert guide. Expect an 18 m rappel, crawling, scrambling, tight squeezes, and stops at the Grande Gallery and Grotto. Guides such as Emily, Annie, Brent, and Tiffany have led past outings.

“First time you’ll have fun doing laundry. This was my first cave exploring and it certainly won’t be the last. Rats nest was right up my alley as my girlfriend and I did the extended version. There was tight squeezes, 49 meter rappelling and lots to see. Our guide Annie was amazing and very personable. As long as you don’t have a fear of heights, tight spaces, being in the dark, or have any physical limitations I would say it’s an experience of a life time which I wouldn’t pass up on. Total time spent was about 7 hours dedicated to the entire experience.”

“the trop itself was excellent and our guide wad fantastic. The length of time at each of the stops was perfect. The only complaint is that we were unfortunately seated in the back corner of the van (we were the last picked up, so these were our spots be default) and we couldn't hear our guide over the air conditioning (which was much needed on such a beautiful, hot day). he didn't seem to mind repeating the instructions to us at each stop though, so overall I would book this excursion again and this company handled everything perfectly. Thanks for the great experience!”
